Harrison St.:  2-Story Addition

Church St.: Historic House Addition

This is a 2024 addition to a 1895 historic and prominent home, transformed a prior addition (2008) to now compliment and enhance the original home. 

New second floor spaces included a new master bedroom with tray ceiling and fire place, new master bath, his & her master closets as well as a new laundry room for a family of six.

Lakeview Phase 2: Three Level Addition

We are proud to have provided architectural services for almost 10 years on numerous phases of additions and renovations to this charming 1915 home. 

This year our client returned to us for a three level home addition. This addition includes dining room (1st floor), master closet (2nd floor), and home office (3rd floor).

Westland Ave.: 2-Story Addition

This is a 2-Story back addition which included a new larger kitchen with center island and new family entry / mudroom. At the second floor included a new master bedroom & bath suite with a tray ceiling. 

A special feature to the new deck is an ice cream parlor type window for easy entertainment. 


Ginn Rd.:  Outdoor Room Addition and Patio

Lawson Rd.:  Kitchen & Family Room Add

2005:  a one-story Addition on the right side of the house, intended to blend in and enhance the original center-entrance architecture, for a new Family Room, opened up to a new, enlarged Kitchen.  A new recessed front Porch leads to a new Family Entry, as a complement the existing front portico main entry.

Myopia Rd.:  Transformation

2012:  A complete transformation of an existing “farm-house” style house includes a large addition 2-story Addition for a new 3-car Garage, new Mud-Room and new Master Bedroom Suite at the 2nd Floor.  Extensive Interior Renovations throughout the 1st Floor opened up the interiors of the home.
A new steeper pitched roof replaces the existing attic roof, and allows for (2) additional 3rd Floor Bedrooms, a Bath and storage.

Salisbury St.:  Copper Roof New Front Porch

2014:  "Curb Appeal" additions to transform the exterior of a modest “Cape” home in “the flats” of Winchester, so as to make it more architectural interesting and in keeping with the neighborhood. Exterior additions included a new Front Entry, a new Bay Window in the Master Bedroom, extending roof over-hangs, adding copper roofs, brackets, custom columns, moldings, etc.

Church St.:  Historical Renovation

Winslow Rd.:  Front Porch Addition

 A new “Front Porch”, including shingled low walls, paired columns, and stone entry steps, was part of the complete transformation of a circa 1905 house.  “Exterior Enhancements” including re-shingling, re-roofing, new trim and adding roof details and extending the roof ends of the existing home, and also for the Garage. The new “Front Porch” required obtaining Zoning Board approval.

Kipling Rd.: Shingle Style Addition

A complete re-design and renovation of an older “cottage” home, added a new 3-car Garage and Family Room (above) to the side of the house. 
A complete new Second Floor added 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, a Laundry Room, etc.
The exterior character was transformed into a “Shingle Style” home.

8 Kipling Road, Wellesley, MA, USA

White Oak Rd.: Family Room Addition

2007-08:   A 1-story addition on the back of an existing home, to create a new
(combined open Kitchen and Family Room, featured a “cathedral” ceiling with ceiling beams, edge soffits for recessed lighting, transom windows, an extra wide built-in bay window and seating, ceiling beams, and other built-in details.  
Other related renovations included enlarging a small Children’s Bedroom on the 2nd Floor, and re-purposing the existing Kitchen as a new Family Entry and Mud-Room

2006:  small Kitchen addition to our own home in Winchester, MA.

Central St.: Kitchen With Cathedral & Arches

Transformation of the first floor included flipping the kitchen and family room spaces. The new kitchen was relocated to take advantage of existing cathedral ceiling space, to which we added decorative arches. A new breakfast area was created in the back with the addition of a built in window seat. 


Windsor Rd.: Tudor Transformation

2012:  A complete transformation of a old tudor style home in disrepair, included a 2-story addition for a Master Bedroom Suite and Garage below, and a 1-story addition for a new "cathedral ceiling" Family Room.  Shingle style type exterior detailing was added throughout, as part of updating this home.  

Thackeray Rd.: Kitchen & Family Room Addition

2006:   A large Addition and extensive Interior Renovations to an older home in Wellesley, MA, added a new “cathedral” Family Room and Child’s Bedroom above. Within the existing house, a new, larger Kitchen was created, opened to the new Family Room.  The project features interior details, low paneled walls, architectural columns, and built-ins.   A new side Family Entry and Mud-Room were also added, to improve function and storage.
(This project required obtaining approval from the Wellesley Zoning Bd.)

2009-10:   A custom New Residence, designed as a traditional center entry home, in Belmont, MA features a large, open and inter-connected “Family Room", "Breakfast Area" and "Kitchen” spaces,
The Second Floor has 4 Bedrooms and 3 Baths, plus an open Attic Loft. 	The Basement was also partially finished so as to include a children’s 	“Recreation Room” and a “Media Room”. 

	Documents finished in 2009, construction completed by 2010.

New Residence: Traditional With In-Law Suite

 A new home in Winchester, MA, features a hipped roof design to better fit into the scale of it's neighborhood.  The house feature an open 1st floor plan.      A separate entry to an in-law suite, for the mother, also a resident of the same street, will allow for 3 generations (grandmother, parents and 4 children) to live in this inter-generational new home.

Ginn Rd.: New Front Porch & Detail

2023- Additions to the front of an existing home included a new front porch, entry, and exterior details (trim, brackets, mouldings). 

Goddu Ave.: Historic 2-story Addition

2002:  Additions to a late 1800s historic home in Winchester, MA included two (2) separate projects: #1. a 2-story Addition for an enlarged, new Kitchen and Master Bath on the 2nd Floor, and #2. a -story Addition for a new Family Entry and Mudroom, so as to connect the house to the previously detached (existing) Garage.  The additions were designed to complement this beautiful, historic, Victorian home, including matching exterior details and trim, adding a new brick chimney  with granite banding (to match the existing granite foundation) and highly decorative rake and roof fascias.

Pilgrim Dr.: "Split-Level" Transformation

2008-09:  this spectacular new Kitchen and Breakfast Area were part of larger total house renovation, and included a large island centered on the cook-top, and a banded 4-window "pop out" bay at the main clean-up sink.

Main St.: Kitchen & M. Bedroom Add

2010-11:  A three-story Addition to the back of an existing 1800s house for a new Master Bedroom Suite, new Kitchen & Breakfast Area, and a new 1-car Garage and Family Entry, plus various Interior Renovations. The design of the Addition exterior includes elaborate trim details and complex roof forms so as to harmonize with this “antique” home.

Englewood Rd.: 1-Story Rear Addition with Curb Appeal Improvements

2006:   New Front Entry, Trellis, dormers, and other details were added to the front of a mid century cape, as part of an overall "Curb Appeal" improvement.
A one-story Addition on the back of the house, and extensive Interior Renovations, provided for a new, enlarged Kitchen, enlarged Dining Room, and new Master Bedroom.

85 Pond St., Winchester, MA -  Addition

2005:   A three-story Addition off the back of the house in Winchester, MA, with great views over-looking Winter Pond, included:  a new Family Room at the 1st floor and a new Master Bedroom Suite at the 2nd floor, also including new Decks, a new Side Entry, a new Kitchen, and Interior Renovations.  This project required approvals by the Town Zoning Board and Conservation Commission,

Pond St.: Pond Addition

Douglas Rd.: "Outdoor Room" Pavilion

A custom designed gazebo type structure was designed to enhance the
exterior appearance of an existing "developer" home and its connection to the backyard. This new Pavilion / "Outdoor Room” features low stone walls and a fireplace, a unique pattern of columns, an upper cupola, and custom lighting.

Sherburne Rd.: "Wall of Glass" Addition

Extensive Additions and Renovations to 1960’s contemporary ranch home featured a new Family Room with a curved “cathedral” ceiling, a large expanse of windows to the backyard, and an integrated Home Theater system.
The Additions also included a new Master Bedroom Suite, including:
Master Bath with custom details, “steam shower”, marble tile, etc.
		A new Dining Room was also created, including a “tray” ceiling.
